Unitarian-Universalist Church of Nashua Logo Contest
The purpose of the contest is to design a logo for the Unitarian-Universalist Church of Nashua. The logo may be used online, in print, and on church related objects, such as, the church buildings, Christmas ornaments, T-shirts, etc.
How to Enter
- Entrants must be a member or friend of the Unitarian-Universalist Church of Nashua.
- Entries can be submitted to John Burkitt or given to John or dropped off at Sherri’s office. The entries can be in any common format but either a hard copy or a JPG file is recommended.
- Entries must include the name, phone number and email address of the Entrant.
- Entries must conform to the Submission Guidelines set out below.
- The deadline for Entries is midnight March 31, 2012.
- The submissions will be reviewed by the Public Relations Committee and up to 10 will be chosen to be voted on by the congregation. The PR committee reserves the right not to award a winner if no appropriate submittals are received
- The winning logo becomes the sole property of the Unitarian-Universalist Church of Nashua.
Submission Guidelines
- Flexibility is a key requirement, including the need to resize easily and to look good in black and white as well as color. Size consideration should be for 1 square inch and up.
- The final version of the logo will need to be suitable for high quality printing.
- The logo can be classical, contemporary or imaginative. The logo can include, but is not required to include, any of the following: the name of the church, an image of the church, or a chalice. The logo should represent some part of the seven principals and/or some element of the UU Church of Nashua.
- The submittal does not need to be a finished piece; a representative sketch can be submitted.
- The logo cannot include copyrighted images or art.
- Entrants must include examples of how the logo can be used in association with the church name “Unitarian-Universalist Church of Nashua”. Please note: Unitarian-Universalist in the church name is hyphenated and must be hyphenated if it is used as part of the logo.
- The limit on attachment sizes for our email is 10MB.
