Heather: youthful, friendly, a little bit shy... but sit her at a piano or hand her a guitar and she transforms into a world class performer - baring her soul in a manner that leaves her listeners breathless. Her gorgeous, rich vocals are filled with soul. From New Orleans-style jazz and blues to rousing Americana and poignant folk narratives, Heather's live performances move seamlessly and effortlessly from one style to the next, and a growing catalog of wildly divergent CD releases reflects her boundless creativity. Heather was voted crowd favorite at Simple Gifts 2012 Showcase.
Doug's seasoned songwriting, storytelling, and musical melodies are deeply rooted in the hills of New England where he now lives. He moves his audiences with warmth, humor, a smooth voice and unpretentious musical vision. All of these qualities made him audience favorite at our 2013 Showcse.
"Doug's guitar work is flawless and his writing is poetic and heartfelt; filled with his experiences in life, in recovery, and the spirit of New England. His original songs will touch your heart and at times make you smile." -Ken Arnold, Off the Square Coffeehouse, Keene NH
We look forward to having these two talented artists back on our stage.
