Two remarkable and highly entertaining Folk musicians come to Simple Gifts Coffee House.
Putnam Smith comes with a rootsy musical influence steeped in Appalachian traditions and he is a story teller for the modern age. Putnam's songs are timeless, yet modern; delivered with a thoughtful energy and captivating wit. His songwriting bears reverence toward our shared past and deep love for the human experience.
Connor Garvey's songs are like placing folk-funk guitar & ukelele, soulful vocals, and paradoxical metaphors in an electric juicer - you've never tasted it before, but it's intriguing and delectable so you have to keep drinking.
